For all of you who didn't get to go to the BBC Good Food Show this year, here are a few of the stands to tempt you for next year!
Not food, but I wouldn't have been there myself if I hadn't been invited by Miele, the kitchen appliance specialists. This photo is from Forever Better, as mine was a bit blurry.
Look at these beautiful olives, makes me wish for summer!
All the spices you could want
Gourmet cooking sauces and seasonings
Fabulous sea salt
One of my favourites, ginger
Anyone for pink bubbly?
A range of spirits, oils and vinegars
Different flavours of liquorice
Very popular - Munchy Seeds
From the Smokehouse
You don't need to go to France anymore to buy smoked garlic
Great selection of sauces, jams and chutneys
Watch young chefs in action as they compete for The Gordon Ramsay Scholar Award 2008
What are the young chefs cooking?
A cooking demonstration by Sophie Mitchell
I meant to put this photo into part 1, it's the food bloggers on the stage of the Supertheatre. We are checking out the latest kitchen appliances from Miele

Did I mention how jealous I am? Look at all that cool stuff. A food lovers dream show!
It's just three years since I was up on stage there as commis chef support to AWT and Raymond Blanc, but it seems like an eternity ago! Events like this are one of the things I really miss living abroad. Great photos - especially the full-sized originals on Flickr.
Oooh I so wish I could have gone! Me and Maggie from 'Kitchen Delights' were all set to go until I ended up not being able to.
I know Maggie had a great time there!
I will now have to wait till next year, sadly.
A great post Nic - love all the pictures. Jan x
